About
The long version.
I write Field Notes — long-form essays on shipping software with AI agents. Plan-of-record, evidence layers, agent runtimes, the anti-patterns engineering teams ship when a model is in the loop, and the engineering practices that hold the rest of the work together when the model is wrong. Less framework, more field notes.
In parallel I build the tools. A dozen open-source Go libraries on github.com/felixgeelhaar, plus Armada (campaign orchestration for Jira, on the Atlassian Marketplace) — see /lab for the current shortlist.
Background: 15+ years across engineering, platform, and ops roles — a mix of startups, scale-ups, and enterprise. Picked up JavaScript and PHP early, drifted into TypeScript, settled on Go for most things I ship today. I live near Munich. Currently focused on what's on /now.
